Аннотация: 
Приводится краткий обзор результатов современных измерений фотосферного диаметра Солнца и его сжатия. Обосновывается необходимость повышения точности измерений этих параметров Солнца, предлагается концепция и структурная схема прибора для измерений углового диаметра и сжатия видимого диска Солнца из-за пределов земной атмосферы.
