We present some information concerning the large scale international events in space sphere, such as International Space Exploration Forum and Heads of Space Agencies Summit on Exploration, which took place in Washington DC (USA) on 9—10 January 2014. The main directions of discussions during the mentioned events are highlighted and the outcome documents are listed. We analyze the possibility to use the experience gained from the actions designed to strengthen the aerospace status of Ukraine. Some examples of SSAU participation in international space initiatives including the International Space Exploration Coordination Group (ISECG) are mentioned. The Global Exploration Roadmap and the ISECG report 2013 are proposed for a consideration.
