Abstract: We present the radio-engineering complex for observation of an active geostationary telecommunication satellite (GSTS)
using the radio-interferometry method. The complex consists of four receiving stations of digital satellite TV. Technical and precision characteristics of the stations are given in the article. A technique of Cartesian coordinates’ calculation of the GSTS in the WGS84 coordinate system, which is developed in the Mykolaiv Astronomical Observatory, is also described. Results and accuracy of obtained coordinates of the GSTS are shown. |
Keywords: coordinates of a geostationary satellite, DVB-S, radio interferometer |
