Abstract:
Some results of observation and identification of geosynchronous satellites obtained at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (MAO) in 1994—1995 and at the Laboratory of Space Research (LSR) of Uzhgorod State University in 1995 are presented. We discuss the problems associated with compiling a catalogue of geosynchronous satellites, with correction of operational satellites, and the use of the survey observations made at LSR for the observations of some selected satellites at MAO.
Keywords: geosynchronous objects, geosynchronous satellites
