Abstract: The necessity of a creation of the system for providing users in Ukraine with the high precision time and frequencies information in the unified units and scales is based. The main directions of researches and developments in frame of the State program of Ukraine «The creation and development of the State service of the unified time and standard frequencies over 1995—1999 years* are discussed. The state of works is analyzed and the results of the main scientific and technical programs tasks are given.
