Abstract: We investigate the relationship between the spatial resolution of an IR scanner and the parameters of the objective, scanning system and detector. The aim of the investigation is to bring the parameters into agreement for obtaining necessary resolution. We give also an example of the calculation of optical electronics system for an IR scanner.
