Abstract: We review satellite observations of seismogenic phenomena in the ionosphere. Based on literature data, hypothetical patterns of seismogenic phenomena were reconstructed. We discuss the reasons which allow the ionospheric «anomalies» to be correlated with earthquake precursors.
