To the 50th anniversary of the space flight of Pavlo Romanovych Popovych, the first Ukrainian cosmonaut

Abstract: 
Among the pioneers of manned space exploration to Earth -hordist Ukraine, cosmonaut Pavel Romanovich Popovich, the wings of which rose to the heights of space age-old dream of the Ukrainian people and the whole world polynulo: "I look at the sky and thought ... I think." During the flight, Paul R. diary, "a kind of cosmic report about what he saw, and that was filled with soul." You read the line items and feel poetic soul our friend. 12 years after its first flight Pavel Popovich again traveled in space aboard the "Soyuz-14" together with cosmonaut flight engineer Yuri Artyukhin. Astronauts spent 15 days at the station. The main purpose of the flight was a military program. In the history of space they were the only crew that visited the orbital space station "Salyut-3". The city Uzyn (birthplace of astronaut) name Popovic named street, and the central square a bust first Ukrainian cosmonaut; Library school number 1 is a museum where things are stored, donated by cosmonaut.
