Abstract: A brief overview of the space technology development in Ukraine in 1968-1994 is presented. A history of creation of the Space Research Council of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1960-ies and its role in the support of the scientific programs of the space-rocket industry of Ukraine is described.
