Abstract:

A review of basic results on lunar space missions carried out during the «Return to the Moon» period (from the end of the 20th century up to now) is presented. An analysis of completed lunar projects is performed. Some long-term plans of the Moon exploration in the immediate future by means of spacecrafts are considered.
