Abstract: 
Проаналізовано основні етапи космічної ери дослідження Місяця. Розглянуто питання наукової доцільності створення у майбутньому на місячній поверхні населених наукових та науково-виробничих баз. Зокрема, такі бази розглядаються як ідеальне місце для всехвильової астрономії.
