Abstract:
We consider the problem of setting up the equations of oscillations in curvilinear rod constructions destined for space application. The metod of solving the frequency equations using the properties of the global stiffness and mass matrices of the construction is described. The efficiency of this method is confirmed by calculations of the dynamic characteristics for a specific parabolic antenna.
