Efficient filtering of space-periodic distortions on archive images

Abstract: 

We consider an efficient method to correct instrument spatialperiodic distortion on the archive satellite images obtained with the optometrist-mechanical scanner. Some essential advantages of filtering with the use of the Furie two-dimensional transformation with combine masks are shown to take place as compared with other methods.
