Abstract:
The basic results of the INTAS project devoted to the automated technology of land cover classification are presented. The project was carried out in 2007–2008 and was supported by the National Space Agency of Ukraine and the Space Agency of France (Le Centre National d'Etudes Spaciales). Multispectral space imagery of land surface with details from 15 to 30 m makes the basis of the developed technology. The end information products of the developed technology are earth site maps with the object nomenclature harmonized with the CORINE Land Cover Classification System
Keywords: earth site maps, multispectral space imagery, object nomenclature
