Low-frequency atmospheric correction of space images

Abstract: An adaptive procedure for low-frequency space image correction is proposed. The formulas obtained for reduction and dispersion coefficients are used at the preliminary stage of the procedure. The following practical realization of the procedure lies in the pixel-by-pixel inverse transformation to obtain a corrected image. To test the adaptive procedure, atmospheric correction of LANDSAT 7 image was successfully carried out.
