The results of the experiments with cell and protoplast cultures under spaceflight and clinorotation conditions are presented. It is shown that the metabolism of plant cells in vitro is sensitive to altered gravity. Mainly, the response of the cells to altered gravity is accompanied by changes in cell expansion growth.
