Abstract: The origins of geostationary satellites (GSS) drift, resulted in leaving a satellite its orbit and appearance either disturbances in corresponding operation systems are considered. A simple method of GSS drift compensation allowing to essentially decrease a frequency of correction of GSS motion and to raise their efficiency is suggested.
