Abstract:
The algorithms for processing ionospheric data obtained in the method of incoherent scattering of radio waves using the Kharkov radar are described. The procedure for obtaining and analyzing geophysical parameters from the standpoint of the theory of statistical solutions is analyzed. In light of this, in order to solve the problem of improving the accuracy and reliability of indicators when calculating the parameters of ionospheric plasma, some aspects of the development of methods for their statistical evaluation are considered. Computational procedures of statistical analysis are proposed, allowing to calculate both the temperature of the ionospheric plasma and its ion composition, including at altitudes at very low, up to several percent, signal-to-noise ratios.
